We have perfected the art of BBQ
After a successful football career at the University of Oklahoma and the New York Jets, Darrol Ray returned to his roots in Norman, Oklahoma, and opened up Ray’s BBQ in 2008. The restaurant is famed for its southern hospitality, family atmosphere, and most importantly, its tasty BBQ. A second location was opened in Moore in 2018.

Everything is good. Personal favorite is half chicken, baked beans and greens. Sauce is the bomb! Loaded baked potatoes are delicious. Yum! P.S. They have great sweet and unsweet tea and watermelon tea, and grape kool-aid!

It's been a few years since I've been to Ray's BBQ, but the flavor is still the same as I remembered and you don't need teeth to eat the ribs... LOL! This was my first time visiting the Moore location and the customer service was exceptional!

Ray's is the best barbecue around! I love the ribs! They are always thick with meat and so tender they fall off the bone. There is nothing worse than going someplace for ribs and getting a bone with a thin layer of tough meat that you have to gnaw off only to find it is so tough and stringy you can't chew it. Well, I have NEVER had any of those issues at Ray's!
